Trevor Richards
Chief Technology Officer

A seasoned business integration specialist with a 30-year track record of success serving a diverse range of industries, Trevor Richards first joined Oxford Consulting Group in 2000 as E-Business Integration Manager. In 2004, though acquisition, he joined QAD, Inc., (QADI) a $290 million global provider of enterprise software and services, as the co-founder of a B2B Global Services Team. After establishing QAD’s EDI Services Teams in Europe, Asia and South America, Richards returned to Oxford Consulting Group in 2009.

Today Richards brings his unique blend of technical expertise in a wide variety of business systems and technologies, including EDI, eCommerce, SAP and QAD, together with his extensive experience in managing project implementation teams to Oxford Consulting Group’s business integration customers worldwide.

Richards graduated from Sheffield University with a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. He began his professional career as an accountant at a manufacturing company in northwest England, where he became closely involved in the implementation of a new financial system. The company subsequently appointed him IT Director, and he went on to implement his first EDI system in 1988. With his relocation to the United States in 1990, he specialized in EDI and business integration, working for several software development companies and system integrators.

A lifelong lacrosse player and live music fan, Richards is a director of the University of Sheffield in North America Alumni Association.
