Michelle Abreu
Chairman & President
As chairman and president of Oxford Consulting Group, Inc., a leading information technology firm servicing clients through the United States, Michelle Abreu leads the daily business operations in addition to developing and overseeing the company’s growth strategy and development initiatives. Since co-founding Oxford Consulting Group in 1998, Abreu has been responsible for all aspects of the business at one time or another. During her more than 12 years of IT consulting and management experience, Abreu has supported more than 60 Fortune 2000 organizations develop and execute on global IT strategies.
In 2004, Abreu led and successfully completed the sale of Oxford’s QAD integration practice to QAD, Inc (QADI) a $290 million global provider of enterprise software and services. As part of the sale, Abreu set up and managed a global business unit for QAD concentrating on the European market as well as leveraging the Oxford Consulting Group acquisition. Prior to founding Oxford Consulting Group, Abreu spent several years of her career working in global financial operations for Procter & Gamble.
Oxford Consulting has been locally and nationally recognized as a high growth performer, most recently being included in the 2008 INC Magazine 5000 fastest growing companies in the U.S.
Abreu is a member of the Women’s Presidents Organization. She holds a B.A. in finance and accounting from Miami University. In January, 2009, she was named a finalist for the “Outstanding Woman in Technology” given by TechColumbus.
Abreu believes that each of us has a social, cultural, ethical responsibility to the communities in with we live and work. She is a board member of Amethyst, Inc., a non-profit organization that provides long term addiction and mental health treatment, integrated with affordable housing, to women and families. Through Oxford Consulting Group and personally, Abreu supports Franklin County Children’s Services, Choices-a not for profit focused on eliminating domestic violence, The Open Shelter, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Heifer International to name a few.
