THE COMPANY:
Managed Care Provider in need of new Managed File Transfer (MFT)
solution to manage secure data transfer between business units,
including several recently acquired companies.
THE CHALLENGE :
- Provide a unified platform for MFT utilizing corporate standards.
- Replace a large number of in-house customized solutions across
business units.
- Deploy solution to a departmental level, eliminating individual
tracking solutions.
- Reduce number of lost claims which result in weeks if not months
of delays leading to significantly increased costs per claim.
THE SOLUTION:
After performing a needs assessment, it was clear none of the
current corporate solutions were adequate to handle the growing
transaction volumes being experienced. After an exhaustive software
selection process, Oxford architected a multi-phased solution utilizing
Axway’s Synchrony Gateway and Synchrony Sentinel products as the
underlying technology. To date, the cross-functional team has
implemented a new MFT solution with end-to-end monitoring across all
business units, achieving all Phase I project goals.

single product suite vs. a number of customized in-house
applications.
