Andrew Engelbert
Director, IT Risk Management & CISO

As Director, IT Risk Management & CISO, Andrew Engelbert is responsible for the ongoing development and growth of the IT Risk Management practice. Engelbert is accountable for a team of highly specialized engagement managers and consultants within one of the fastest growing sectors of IT – Security and Risk Management.

Engelbert is an seasoned Information Technology Professional that provides sound strategic and tactical leadership by leveraging his extensive architecture, engineering and operations experience. He has extensive knowledge and hands on experience with traditional and non-traditional programmatic and risk assessment methodologies, organizational and IT-based policy and procedure development and security controls analysis and design. He is knowledgeable with many of the current industry standards (ISO, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, FACTA) that impact the day to day activities of Oxford’s clients.

Engelbert has nearly 13 years of experience in Information Technology, with the primary focus on IT Risk Management for the past 8 years. Throughout his career he has lead major initiatives as a enterprise level subject matter expert for Fortune 100/500/1000 customers in the financial services, health care, insurance and public sector domains. Engelbert has spent most of his professional career working as an enterprise level subject matter expert on IT Risk Management, emerging technologies, and the proper business implementation of services and solutions to effectively mitigate risk.

He holds a bachelors degree from Franklin University in Computer Science and General Business. Engelbert is a member of many local and national industry groups, including ISSA, ISACA and ISC2. He currently holds the CISSP and CISM certifications and is a Certified ISO27001 Auditor.
